Dre's Sides
DRE — SCENE DESCRIPTION
Dre has recently returned home after serving five years in prison. While he was away, Tavon became a powerful and feared presence in the streets. But Dre remembers Tavon differently—and he refuses to treat him like the untouchable king everyone else sees.
After learning that his younger brother Moe has crossed Tavon, Dre waits outside his mother's house with his crew. He knows exactly why Tavon came there and what could happen to Moe.
This isn't about Dre trying to impress his friends or prove how tough he is. It's about his little brother.
Dre is willing to accept that Moe did wrong, but there is one line Tavon cannot cross: Moe's life.
Dre approaches Tavon without fear and makes that line clear.
