Pastor’s Wife is warm, grounded, spiritually strong, observant, and quietly confident. She doesn't need many words to understand her husband—or to influence him.

She knows the Pastor well enough to read his face the moment he enters the house. When he tells her what's happening and reaches for a gun, she doesn't panic or argue with him.

She simply takes the gun from his trembling hands...

and replaces it with a Bible.

That action tells us almost everything we need to know about her. 

She is the Pastor's emotional anchor.

She's compassionate without being weak. Faithful without being preachy. Strong without needing to dominate the room.

When everybody else is losing control, she tends to become calmer.
